Our Dogs
Breeding for LGD Traits |
Our goal is to breed the highest quality livestock guardian dogs. Our first priority is breeding for exceptional health. If you don't have that, what good is anything else? After health we breed for some specific traits: It is important that a LGD puppy be neither timid nor especially outgoing. He or she would need to have low chase drive and be accepting of new things and sudden noises. We will only breed adults who have proven themselves to be exceptional with both livestock and people. They must be dedicated to both the herd and the farm as a whole. The breed standard does matter to us, and we will also work to maintain that standard.
